What are credits?+
Credits are the currency your sidecaster uses to think and speak. Every chat response, voice line, and avatar generation costs a small number of credits, based on real usage — longer replies and spoken lines cost a little more, and generating a new avatar costs more than a chat message.
What happens when I run out of credits?+
Your sidecaster pauses until you have more credits. On a paid plan, you can buy top-up credit packs anytime. Your subscription credits refill at the start of each billing cycle.
Can I change plans?+
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect immediately, and you'll be charged or credited the prorated difference.
Do I need to manage any API keys?+
No. We handle all the AI infrastructure. You just install the app, sign in, and create your sidecaster.
Does it work with OBS?+
Yes. The app runs locally on your PC and serves an overlay that you add as a browser source in OBS. Your sidecaster appears on stream with lip-synced animations.
Can I use my own artwork?+
Absolutely. Upload your own PNG sprites for each expression, or use the AI avatar builder to generate them. Mix and match — regenerate one pose while keeping the rest.
